Tips & Strategies
Keep track of points closely, as every point scored in a trick gives you the power to assign sips. Be strategic during bidding, calling a high bid and losing the round means you drink for the amount of points you fell short. Use the meld phase not only to score points but also to gauge who might lose and assign drinks accordingly. If you're close to winning, assigning drinks strategically can throw off your opponents' focus (or coordination).
Variations
Dealer's Double: The dealer adds a double-drink penalty for any failed bid over 20 points.. Trump Sips: Every time a trump card is played, the player who played it takes a sip.. Meld Madness: All meld scores are doubled, but every 10 points scored in meld means the player must drink.
