Setup

Deal cards. Start discard pile with one card.

How to Play Rummy Drinking

1. Deal 10 cards each (7 for 3-4 players)
2. Draw and discard to form runs and sets
3. Runs = 3+ consecutive same suit
4. Sets = 3-4 of same rank
5. Knock when you can go out
6. Loser drinks points left in hand
7. Gin (all matched) = opponent drinks 25
8. First to 100 points overall wins

Tips & Strategies

Don't hold onto high cards too long. Dump them if not in runs.

Variations

Speed Rummy: 30 second turns. Wild Rummy: Jokers are wild cards.
