Equipment Needed
- 12 large buckets
- Tennis balls or softballs
- Drinks
Setup
Set up triangles about 20 feet apart. Buckets weighted with water.
How to Play Yard Pong
- Set up 6 buckets per side in triangle formation
- Fill buckets partially with water to stabilize
- Teams throw balls into opponent's buckets
- Made bucket = opponent drinks, remove bucket
- Both teammates make = balls back
- Bounce allowed but can be swatted
- Elimination wins
- Reracks at 6, 3, and 1 bucket
Tips & Strategies
Aim for center buckets first. They're easier targets and mess up formation.
Variations
Sudden Death: 3 buckets each. Mega Pong: 10 buckets per side.
