Tips & Strategies
Start with a firm grip to hold your opponent in place, but don't overdo it and tire out your thumb too quickly. When using your non-dominant hand in the later rounds, move slower and focus on defense, as it'll likely be less agile. For the final 'eyes closed' round, try to track your opponent's movements by feel; make small, precise motions instead of wildly lunging. Don't underestimate the psychological impact of trash talk,it can throw your opponent off their game and lead to easy wins.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What happens if the series ends in a tie?
- If both players win 4 matches, the final 'eyes closed' round becomes the tiebreaker. The loser of that round drinks 3 for losing the series.
- Can we use thumbs that have been injured?
- There's no rule banning injured thumbs, but it might put you at a severe disadvantage, especially during the non-dominant hand and eyes-closed rounds.
- What’s the strategy for the 'eyes closed' round?
- Keep your thumb low and close to your opponent's to make it harder for them to predict your movements. Small, controlled movements are key.
- Can we play Thumb War Tournament with more than two people?
- Not in the standard format. However, you can organize a bracket-style tournament where the winner of each series moves on to the next round.
