Equipment Needed
- Drinks
- Phone for music or someone to call commands
Setup
Everyone lines up on one side of the room with their drinks. One person is the caller and stands at the other end facing away.
How to Play Squid Game Red Light Green Light
- The caller faces away from the group and says Green Light.
- During Green Light everyone must drink continuously.
- The caller says Red Light and spins around.
- Everyone must freeze instantly. No swallowing, no moving.
- Anyone caught moving is eliminated from that round.
- The caller turns away and says Green Light again.
- Keep going until one player remains or everyone is eliminated.
- The winner assigns drinks. Eliminated players drink a penalty.
Tips & Strategies
Small sips during green light so you can freeze easier. Watch the caller for movement cues. Practice your poker face.
Variations
Play with the actual Squid Game soundtrack for atmosphere. Speed rounds where the caller switches faster. Team version where partners must freeze together.
