Everyone sits in a circle. No equipment needed besides drinks. Decide who starts.
How to Play Baskin Robbins 31
- The first player starts counting from 1.
- On your turn you can say one, two, or three consecutive numbers.
- For example you could say just "1" or "1, 2" or "1, 2, 3" to start.
- The next player continues from where you left off.
- Keep going around the circle counting higher.
- Whoever is forced to say 31 loses and has to drink.
- Start a new round with the loser going first.
Tips & Strategies
Think ahead about the math. If you can land on 27 you are in good shape since they have to say at least 28. Saying three numbers early can backfire later.
Variations
Some groups play to different numbers like 21 or 41. Others add rules like you must clap on multiples of 7. Speed rounds where hesitation means drinking add extra pressure.
