How to Play Flip Sip or Strip
- Flip a coin
- Call heads or tails
- Wrong = drink
- Right = assign a drink
- Three wrong in a row = penalty
- Five right in a row = make a rule
- Pure luck
- Fast and simple
Tips & Strategies
If you're flipping the coin, toss it high enough to make it fair but not so hard it flies across the room. Remember that assigning drinks after a correct guess can be strategic, target someone who's already had three wrong guesses to make their penalty more brutal. Keep track of your streaks because hitting five correct calls lets you make sneaky rules, like making someone drink after every wrong call. Don't underestimate the penalty for three wrong guesses; it's a chance for house rules like taking a shot or removing an article of clothing.
Variations
Double or Nothing. Strip Mode. Wildcard Flip
Frequently Asked Questions
- What happens if I get three wrong guesses in a row?
- You face the game's penalty, which could mean taking a shot or removing a piece of clothing depending on house rules for your group.
- How do streaks work in Flip Sip or Strip?
- If you guess right five times in a row, you get to create a new rule for the group, such as forcing someone to drink every time they call heads.
- Can I flip the coin any way I want?
- Yes, but it needs to be a fair flip that lands flat for everyone to see the result. Avoid flipping too hard or letting it roll off the table.
- What if the coin lands on its edge?
- That's rare but possible; if it happens, the flipper must re-toss the coin for a valid result.
