Setup

Queue up Avatar The Last Airbender on Netflix. Everyone grabs their drinks. Assign element responsibilities to players if you want.

How to Play Avatar The Last Airbender

  1. Take a sip when Aang uses airbending.
  2. Take a sip when someone says the word Avatar.
  3. Drink when Zuko mentions honor or his father.
  4. Drink when Katara waterbends.
  5. Take a sip when Sokka makes a joke or sarcastic comment.
  6. Drink when there is a flashback scene.
  7. Finish your drink when a major battle happens.
  8. Take a shot when a new bending move is shown for the first time.
  9. Drink when Uncle Iroh gives wisdom or mentions tea.

Tips & Strategies

The first few episodes have lots of exposition so pacing is easier. Later episodes with more action will hit harder. Snacks help.

Variations

Assign each player an element. You only drink when that element is used. Hard mode adds drinking for every firebending scene which happens a lot.
