Instructions

• Set-up: A cup should be placed on each of the three circles down the sidelines and at each end zone. All cups should be filled halfway with water. The football post suction cup should be moistened and stuck to the smaller circle in front of the end zone cup.
• Scoring: Suggested game should be played to 25 points, but can be decidedotherwise. Points are scored by shooting a touchdown into the end zone cup (6 points) or by bouncing a field goal through the posts (3 points). After scoring a touchdown, you get a free opportunity at an extra point (1 point) by bouncing the ball through the posts. A 2 point conversion (2 points) is scored when an extra p
• Rule 1: Each team will shoot at the cups lined up to their right hand side and the end zone cup on the far side of the table. Game play is similar to a normal football game. A team has 4 downs (attempts) to throw a table tennis ball for a touchdown or bounce a field goal unless a first down is made.
• Rule 2: Hitting 2 cups is an automatic first down and will give that team 4 more throws to score. If a cup is made during a possession, it will be removed until that turn is over. A cup can be made by bouncing or throwing the ball directly in. A field goal must be bounced before the halfway line unless a cup is made.
• Rule 3: Making a cup on the sideline qualifies you to bounce your ball up to the next cup that has not yet been made. For example, if the cup at the 50 yard line is made, you are allowed to bounce your field goal up until the line of the middle cup (30 yd line).
• Rule 4: If you make the middle cup, you are allowed to bounce up until the furthest receiver cup (10 yd line).
• Rule 5: Lastly, if you make the furthest receiver cup, the field goal may be bounced from anywhere. A ball may only bounce once for it to count on a cup or a field goal/extra point. The ball may bounce anywhere for an extra point. Any ball that hits the line will not count.
• Other Game Variation A. Point totals should be the same as the original game. Extra points do not count as throws. Each team has four shots each possession to rack up the highest total points they can. Play to 50. For example, a team could potentially score 32 points in one possession with 4 touchdowns and a 2 point conversion for each touchdown.
• Other Game Variation B. Point totals should be the same as the original game. Add point values to the cups on the sideline. The nearest cup would be worth 3 points, the middle cup 4, and the furthest cup would be 5.
• Other Game Variation C. Point totals should be the same as the original game. Add defense to the original game by strategically placing your opponent's cups anywhere on their designated lines before the start of their possession.
